Introductory events for Master's students

When you start your Master's degree program at the University of Hohenheim, we will support you with introductory events where you will receive important information about the course of your studies. There is a welcome event for every Master's degree program. This takes place either in advance or during the lecture period.

International students can take part in the Welcome Week, which offers an additional program.

How to find your events:

Numerous events such as information lectures, introductions to your degree program, campus tours, and preparatory courses await you at the start of your studies at the University of Hohenheim. The easiest way to find them is to select your degree program in the filter function so you can quickly find the events relevant to you that will help you get started with your studies.

Your Fachschaft's program

Your fellow students would also like to welcome you to Hohenheim and introduce you to university life. The three “Fachschaften” (groups of departmental student representatives) have planned a fun and sociable program for this. You can look forward to the first TMS party, a trip to the Ersti hut, a games evening, and much more. Keep an eye out for your degree program's WhatsApp group to make initial contacts and clarify questions. You can find the Fachschaft programs on their website and/or Instagram channel. They are also offering tours and informational events that you can find in the event calendar.
