Latest news

  • Infopoint: If you have questions, you can find the Central Student Counselling Center (ZSB) in front of the Mensa at an info booth from 13-16 October 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
  • The Student Information Center (SIZ) will be open on 13-14 October from 9 a.m. - 12 noon, from 15-16 October from 12 noon - 4 p.m. and on 17 October from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
  • The program for the introductory events for the winter semester 2025/26 is now online.
  • Introductory events for international students will take place onlien and on campus between 5 August and 14 October.
  • The start of lectures in the winter semester 2025/26 is 13 October 2025.

Supporting courses

The Bachelor's degree programs require a certain basic knowledge of mathematics and chemistry in order to successfully follow the course content. We offer courses and tutorials for new students - both before and during the first semester - to make it easier for you to get started with math and chemistry modules and to support you with any questions you may have.

Find a suitable apartment - whether in a residence hall, shared apartment, or single apartment. The Studierendenwerk (Student Services) has several residence halls that are just a few minutes' walk or bike ride from campus.

    The Hohenheim user account is your personal key to the internet, email, intranet, ILIAS, and many other services.
  • Curricula
    Information on modules, coursework, and examinations for your degree program.
  • Semester dates
    All information on semester breaks, lecture periods, important deadlines, and dates.
  • Central e-learning system (ILIAS)
    You can use the ILIAS learning platform to access course materials and course content online and communicate with other students and lecturers.

    The Communication, Information, and Media Center (KIM) is your central point of contact for IT and library services.
